in the space of the perineum,

lies our first energy center.

It is the root that connects us

with Mother Earth,

with the pulse of Nature and

with every experience

that grounds us into life.

It carries the verb to have,

the essence of survival,

the right to exist.

Blood and bones belong here.

The foundations of life,

the strength of the body.

When we find ways to root ourselves

through the Earth,

through the body,

through trust and belonging, 

our body becomes a safe refuge

 where we rest  into security,

protection, balance, stability and strength.
